Cape Cod Mermaid Artist

Kathy lives on Cape Cod with her Husband Greg, a Captain for American Airlines, their dog Tide and two cats, Hawk and Sushi.
Self taught her art career had an unexpected beginning! While remodeling their older home, they wanted hand painted tiles for one of the bathrooms. Unable to find what they were looking for Kathy went to a local ceramic shop and painted a small tile. This led to a larger mural, which was seen by a gallery owner. At his suggestion she put it in another gallery which was having a mermaid show. Hence the beginning! Kathy 's work has been featured on channel 5's Boston show "Chronicle" she has a whimsical style ~ Mermaids, Nantucket Baskets and Lighthouses are a few of her favorite things to paint!
